About Sarah
Hi — I’m Sarah Harrison.
I’m a mom, a small-business owner, and a community advocate who believes Wisconsin can do better for working families. I’m running for State Senate because I want my kids — and every kid in our state — to grow up in a community that’s safe, affordable, and full of opportunity.

I grew up in a family that valued hard work, fairness, and looking out for your neighbors. I came to Wisconsin over two decades ago, built my career here, and raised my family here.

My path hasn’t been traditional, and that’s one of my strengths. I worked my way up in operations and logistics, built a small business from scratch, and spent years solving complex problems.

Along the way, I learned how to navigate systems that weren’t always built with people like me in mind — and how to fix what’s broken.

Why Would I Want to Run for Office?
Hint: it's not the glamorous schedule or endless meetings. I had plenty of that in my twenty years in the corporate world.

Wisconsin deserves leaders who actually listen and act — not just smile, nod, and move on. I’ve spent my life rolling up my sleeves, from knocking doors at 19 to building a career solving complex problems and getting results.

I’m running because:
-
Wisconsin families deserve a government that works for them
-
Communities need smart, practical solutions — not political theater
-
Hard-working people deserve more than a polite pat on the head and three minutes at a mic

I’m not waiting for permission or a signal from above. When leadership falls short, you either complain or you step in.

I’m stepping in.

What's at Stake...and How We Fix It
Wisconsin faces real challenges — and we can’t afford leadership that looks the other way. Families are stretching every dollar, local governments are scraping by, and too many critical decisions get caught in political games instead of real problem-solving.

I’m not interested in scoring points. I’m interested in improving people’s lives. That means asking hard questions, making smart decisions, and working with anyone who wants to make Wisconsin stronger.

Here’s my solutions-focused approach:
1. Listen to the people closest to the problem.
The best solutions come from teachers, nurses, small business owners, and community members — not lobbyists or party insiders.
2. Invest where it matters most.
Strong schools, safe communities, affordable healthcare, and shared revenue that actually supports local needs.
3. Cut the theatrics and develop practical solutions.
I come from the operations world — I don’t care who gets credit. I care that it works.
4. Lead with transparency and accountability.
Government should be understandable, accessible, and answerable to the people it serves.
